First Visit

We look forward to meeting you at your initial consultation with our office. During this first visit, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment needs. Each patient's orthodontic needs are unique, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve at not only your first appointment, but every appointment.

Your initial consultation will include photos of your face and teeth, x-rays, a thorough examination of your bite, and a detailed discussion of potential orthodontic treatment options. During this highly informative visit, Dr. Gamache and his team will discuss if any orthodontic treatment is needed, when orthodontic treatment should begin, how long orthodontic treatment will take, the cost of orthodontic treatment, and the various payment options available. If Dr. Gamache determines that you can begin orthodontic treatment now and you elect to move forward with treatment, we schedule enough time after your consultation appointment to complete a digital scan of your teeth using an iTero scanner. This digital scan of your teeth allows Dr. Gamache to prepare his indirect bonding setup for braces or submit your case to clear aligners depending on the treatment option you have chosen. For those over 18 years old, please have your general dentist forward your most recent periodontal charting to our office.

If you have dental insurance that may include orthodontic benefits, please be sure to submit your new patient intake form (https://gamacheorthodontics.com/standard-forms/) with the insurance information included as soon as possible so we may determine your estimated benefits and have that information ready for you at your initial consultation. We are excited to see you soon!

Open Communication

We encourage questions from patients and parents, and we provide ample time to answer your questions. We believe that good orthodontic care begins with open communication, and we promise to speak candidly with you about our diagnosis, recommendations, options, and any symptoms present which may require additional treatment. Working together, we can achieve a true partnership with one common goal - helping you achieve a beautiful, confident smile!
